"Received mine today and mounted them. Longest part wasunwrapping, German Rush did a great job packaging these delicate pieces. Firstthing I noticed in directions was to mark with tape along stock trim to helpalign new pieces, oops I had removed them in anticipation of them coming today.Was still able to get them in the right place, you have to very careful becauseonce it starts sticking almost impossible to lift again without riskingbreaking the piece. Found the gap we thought might be there is not, it's aperfect fit. Couple tips for removing stock trim: First I went to Home Depotand got a heat gun. The only part of the trim that had glue was right at thewide end. I heated that then used an interior trim remover tool and pried up alittle, once I got it up a some I grabed it with vice grips and just pulled thefull length off. After that little bit of glue it's just tape, I heated it andthen rolled off leftover adhesive with my thumb, came off easy. Next be carefultaking the little piece under the blade off, I started heating it and quicklystopped when I noticed paint start to bubble, not sure if maybe that piece isplastic? I then took that trim tool and tapped it under the trim and was ableto pop it right out, was just a little tape there but it also had 2 plugs thatwent into hole under it. I'm really happy with this simple mod and when youlook at car it really brings the CF mirrors to the CF blade. Pictures in asecond"
