Software will need to be updated (it\'s been sitting on the shelf unsold for years), but in our experience that\'s the only thing that works well on these devices and is easily accomplished with their app and a 12v or 24v power supply or even in situ on the aircraft.
We\'ll send it with contact info for our shop so you can have us install a goodtransponder once you give up on this questionable \"solution\".
