Window Sweeps Felt Kit Belt Line Weatherstrip for 1974-1976 Cadillac Coupe Deville 2 Door Hardtop Authentic 4 Piece
SKU: RPS-CC167a
Q: What is a window sweeps felt kit?
It seals the gap between the door panel and the window glass along the belt line, guiding the glass and keeping water, dust, and noise out of the door cavity.
Q: What happens when belt weatherstrip wears out?
The window rattles, squeaks during operation, rain leaks into the door, and the edge of the glass looks ragged or unfinished.
Q: Are there other names for a window sweeps felt kit?
You may see this part listed under different window-sealing terms.
- Belt line molding
- Window sweep seal
- Window felt channel
- Glass run channel
- Door glass seal strip
Names vary by manufacturer and industry terminology.
Q: Will this help my window roll up and down smoothly?
Yes, new belt weatherstrip provides the proper guide channel for glass travel and reduces friction that causes binding or slow operation.
Q: Any install tips or cautions?
Remove the old strip carefully to avoid scratching the glass. Some applications require adhesive while others snap into a channel — confirm your mounting style before ordering.
