Genuine Volvo leather-wrapped front door pull handle covers for the S60R and V70R — the matching left and right pair, each complete with its leather-covered front shell and plastic rear shell, in the R's gray leather with blue contrast stitching. Pulled from a 2005 S60R.
These were only ever factory-fitted to the R cars — every other P2 got a gray or color-matched plastic cover in this spot — and Volvo has discontinued both part numbers, so the only supply left is what comes out of R donors before they sadly end up at the crusher. The driver's side is the harder half to find in usable shape, since it's the one grabbed every time the door is closed.
This is a factory-matched pair: both handles came off the same car and carry the same leather batch (AN 911) and the same production week (week 44 of 2004) on their supplier labels, so the two sides match each other. Both have been cleaned, so the stitching shows its original blue — on neglected handles it darkens toward grayish/black over time.
They're also a direct swap into non-R P2s from 2005 on — S60, V70 and XC70 — replacing the color-matched full-plastic handles/covers with no modification, using the screws already in the door. This includes the beige, gray/arena, and oak color handles/covers. I run an identical pair (same part numbers) in my own 2006 XC70, installed with the original XC70 screws.

Volvo's catalog lists one leather version per side for the S60R/V70R, with no interior-color variants. On non-R cars they replace the factory gray or color-matched covers using the screws already in the door. For a 2001–2004 non-R I haven't confirmed fit, so compare your handle to the photos before buying.
Part numbers, explained
The labels inside each handle carry the supplier's own article numbers — 878670 (left) and 878671 (right), from Kümmel Fahrzeugteile, who made these for Volvo — not Volvo's catalog numbers. Volvo's service catalog lists the same parts as 8658964 (left) and 8658965 (right), the only leather versions of this cover. Search by either set; they are the same parts.
Condition
- Used, original ~20-year-old leather and plastic, sold as-is. Please look at every photo.
- Cleaned. Stitching fully intact and showing its original blue.
- All clips and mounting tabs intact and functional.
- Small nicks in the leather in a few places on both handles, from normal use.
- Passenger / right handle: at the top edges on either side, the leather stops a few millimeters short and the plastic shell shows through a small gap. It could be a factory trimming miss or a later cut — not sure which. Shown close up in the photos.
- The original supplier label is still inside each handle (photographed).
