Read this first: the wheel decides, not the car. The ball seat radius is machined into the wheel, so two identical cars can need different bolts depending on what wheels are bolted to them. This bolt is for wheels that call for an R14 ball seat on an M12x1.5 hub thread at 26mm shank. Confirm both before ordering.
This is a hybrid bolt. Mercedes never built this exact combination. Factory bolts pair an M12x1.5 thread with an R12 or R13 ball seat on the older cars, and pair the larger R14 ball seat with an M14x1.5 thread on the newer ones. This bolt puts the R14 seat on an M12x1.5 shank, which is what lets you run later R14 seat wheels on an earlier Mercedes hub. There is no Mercedes OE part number for it because it does not exist as a factory part.

The application this solves. You have a later Mercedes wheel machined for an R14 ball seat and you want it on an earlier Mercedes running M12x1.5 hub threads. A factory R12 or R13 bolt sitting in an R14 pocket contacts on too small a radius. That is the classic cause of a wheel that will not stop vibrating and of bolts that will not stay torqued no matter how many times you re-check them. This bolt matches the R14 pocket correctly while still threading into the M12x1.5 hub.
It is also a straight dimensional replacement anywhere a wheel and hub combination calls for M12x1.5, R14 ball seat, 26mm shank and 17mm hex.

In inches the shank is roughly 1.02 inches and overall length is roughly 1.79 inches. Quantities: 16 bolts for a 4-lug car, 20 for a 5-lug, 24 for a 6-lug. Mercedes bolt patterns on these applications are commonly 5x112 and 5x130.
