- Sway control provides tension to help keep the trailer in line, and an interior bar telescopes in and out as your trailer moves. When your trailer begins to move out of line, the friction pads inside the unit create resistance to help reduce any further side-to-side movement.
- Weight distribution hitches enhance safety when towing heavy loads. They ensure a level ride by distributing the trailer's tongue weight more evenly across the vehicle's axles. Steel spring bars are used to lift the back end of the vehicle, transferring more of the tongue weight to the front axle and rear trailer axle. With a properly installed weight distribution hitch, the height difference caused by a heavy trailer is reduced and spread throughout the entire vehicle-trailer combination.
