Calibrations varied by year, transmission and emissions package, so please compare the tag on your original carburetor before buying. The RBS is also a popular upgrade for Ford 200 and 250 sixes because it is one of the highest-flowing 1-barrels Ford used. Earlier heads may need an adapter or machining.
Features
• Carter RBS 1-barrel downdraft
• Carter Climatic Control automatic choke
• Throttle solenoid with original protective caps
• Side-mounted, removable float bowl for easy service
• Plated linkage and hardware
Condition
New old stock, never installed. There is no fuel varnish or carbon in the bowl or throttle bore, and the original rubber caps are still on the solenoid and vacuum fittings. The float bowl shows light handling marks from storage. The box is shelf-worn, with old part numbers crossed out and the updated number written in. This carb has been stored for decades, so cleaning and inspection before installation are recommended. Please see all photos, since they are part of the description.
