The Mishimoto MMOC-S2K-00BK is a complete direct-fit oil cooler kit engineered specifically for the 2000–2009 Honda S2000 (AP1 and AP2). The F20C and F22C1 engines are famously high-revving and thermally demanding — on a spirited mountain run or a track day, oil temperatures climb quickly, and sustained elevated temperatures break down viscosity and accelerate wear on the cam bearings, piston rings, and other critical components. Mishimoto's 19-row stacked-plate cooler addresses this by significantly expanding the oil system's thermal capacity and routing oil through a front-grille-mounted cooler with direct access to ambient airflow.

The kit includes everything needed for a clean, direct installation: pre-assembled stainless steel braided oil lines with -AN fittings, a billet aluminum oil sandwich plate, S2000-specific mounting brackets, and all hardware. Oil capacity is increased by 0.6 qt as an added benefit. No modifications to the S2000 are required. For those in cooler climates or who prefer controlled oil warm-up times, the thermostatic version (MMOC-S2K-00TBK) is available separately and bypasses the cooler until oil reaches operating temperature.
