It\'s the factory prop for Alpha One and Bravo One sterndrives using the 4-3/4\" gearcase (originally spec\'d for the MerCruiser V-225 V6, serial 5628028 and up), and fits the broader range of Mercury/MerCruiser sterndrive applications that share this hub and spline pattern. Stainless holds pitch and blade-edge geometry far better than aluminum over time, which is why these are a common step-up from a stock aluminum wheel or a direct swap for a bent/damaged prop carrying this same part number.

Picked up during a hauling/scrap pickup, not pulled from a running drive, so prior service history is unknown. Hub, splines, and all three blades are intact — no bends. Blade edges show light nicks and chips typical of a used working prop; see the close-up photos of the leading and trailing edges before offerding. Part number \"48-73982A4 21P\" and casting number \"8-73982-2\" are clearly stamped in the hub, confirmed against Mercury\'s parts catalog.
