For sale is the lower unit for a Mercury 8 hp and 9.9 hp 4-stroke outboard, applications below. This lower unit is in good working condition, it was removed from a running outboard that was only used in freshwater. This lower unit turns over smoothly and shifts correctly. The gear lube was clean when we checked it, no water and no metal. The water pump impeller is a brand new QUICKSILVER replacement. This is a long-shaft lower unit for 20\" transoms- the driveshaft measures ~19 3/8\" from the top of the water pump to the top of the driveshaft. This is a nice replacement lower unit.
