UNFOLDING Unfolding is simple and relies on heat to activate the materials memory feature restoring the product to its original shape without leaving any stretch marks or creases. Here are the best methods we recommend for unfolding KBD Body Kits products
- Option 1 Sunlight. If you are in a warm climate place the product in direct sunlight. For faster results set it on a hot surface like asphalt. The time it takes depends on the outdoor temperature and surface heat typically 15-30 minutes though it may take longer in cooler conditions.
- Option 2 Heated paint booth. If you have access to a body shop with a heated paint booth place the product inside until it fully regains its shape.
