Window regulator is a mechanism inside a vehicle's door panel which is responsible for controlling the movement of the window glass.It consists of several components including a motor, regulators and cables.The regulator is powered by a motor which is connected to the regulator and the window glass, usually controlled by a switch or button located on the interior of the vehicle. Ensuring that the window moves smoothly and does not vibrate or jam and helps to keep the window sealed, stoping drafts, water, and other elements from entering the vehicle.
Installation Steps:
1、Detach the door panel
2、Loosen the bolts and screws for the regulator and window glass. Raise the glass window and secure it with tape
3、Take out the old regulator and motor
4、Install the new regulator in the same position
5、Reinstall all the bolts and screws
6、Tighten the screws with the wrench
7、Connect the wires to the window motor
8、Lower the glass window to the new regulator and tigthen the mounting hardwares. Put back the plastic liner and door panel
9、Test if the regulator functions good
