Beware of Chinese imitation convertible tops.

Things to watch out for

1. Grey or white backing. This is atelltalesign of the top being made in china. The material they are using are not even UV coated which means it will fade within 6 months and you want even be able to return it at that point.
2. Watch for pictures of wrinkled or plastic wrapped plastic windows. That'show you know its a Chineseknock off. We use D.O.T approved press polished automotive specific plastic windows. The Chinese ones are fuzzy and sticky anddefinitelynot DOT approved.
3. The wording and the description dont match. Some listings show original vinyls such as sailcloth and pinpoint grains and they are selling some random Chinese Vinyl.

covers, door panel skins and carpet kits. Not a million random Chinese window motors and accessories. Look at the sellers page, if they are selling a million unrelated items then you know you are buying a Chinese knock off top.
