Why choose these over traditional urethane scoops?
Traditional Saleen and most Saleen-style scoops are manufactured from solid urethane, making them substantially heavier than lightweight ABS. The additional weight places greater stress on the mounting tape, while urethane provides a less favorable bonding surface.
These scoops utilize lightweight ABS construction to reduce the load placed on the mounting tape while providing a better surface for adhesive bonding. The material also retains enough flexibility to conform to the quarter panel during installation, combining reduced weight with a secure, OEM fit.
Improved Mounting
Integrated mounting and alignment pins mechanically retain each scoop on the quarter panel while ensuring precise positioning during installation.
