Bonding Kit:
- 2 x Tube Sika P2G Urethane Adhesive
- 2 x AdhesiveNozzle

U Trim:
- Used To cover the cut edge
- Goes over both the inner lip and cut edge
- Gives a neat and tidy professional finish
- Supplied in the appropriate length for the window purchased
Fitting Kit Tips and Hints:
To achieve a structural bond between glass and metal work the surface must be clean and free from grease or dirt. Use the cleaning wipe on the glass and metal work.Primer is applied to both surfaces. The metal work and the glass. Primer must be in contact with the adhesive.The adhesive (urethane) is a vehicle glazing specific product, Urethane has a fairly thick consistency, if it was runny it wouldn't stay in place when the adhesive is applied or when the window is pushed into the adhesive. To aid its application its recommended to use a caulking gun with a higher lever ratio.Pre Heating the adhesive tube prior to use is also beneficial if your using a standard caulking gun or a higher ratio adhesive gun.A heat gun/hairdryer can be used for this to gently heat it.
The adhesive must be applied in one continuous run on the metal work with no gaps. Gaps means leaks!
The U Trim is used to cover the cut edge. Its fitted before the window is bonded in and trimmed to length. To fit simply push the trim over the factory metal stampings and the outer cut edge.

Returns
Van Tek Glass customers can return the products within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund and the buyer is responsible for the safe return of the products to us. Buyer should pack items well in original box to protect from damages and make sure that all the fitting equipment has been included. Before refunding we check the contents are in a saleable condition, if the glass is damaged unfortunately no refund can be given. Please contact us with the return reason before shipping it back, if there is a proven issue we will email you free return labels. Items ordered incorrectly would be the buyers responsibility for return costs.
