Hydro-boost systems are capable of delivering significantly greater pressure through a braking system than a vacuum boost. In some cases, you can more than double the pounds of pressure being distributed to your brakes simply by opting for hydro-boost.
This quality Hydro-Boost hydraulic brake assist power booster generates up to 1800psi of line pressure to the brake calipers and is powered by hydraulic line pressure from the power steering pump.
The average power steering pump puts out from 800psi to 1400psi line pressure. The Hydro-Boost uses this pressure to “boost” the force on the master cylinder\'s brake fluid and therefore apply more force to the brake calipers (and subsequently more force on the rotors with the brake pads). This greatly improves stopping performance and driver response. This hydraulic power booster can be easily installed on an existing vacuum booster vehicle or used to convert a manual brake setup to power.
- Two Master Cylinder Mounting Studs are 3-1/2\" apart center-to-center
- Four Firewall or Mounting Bracket Holes are 3-3/8\" apart square center-to-center

• Hydro Power brake booster with firewall mount brackets, push rod and pedal clevis. The mount studs for the master cylinder are 3 3/8\" center to center.
- Zinc Master Cylinder has 1-1/8\" Bore with 9/16\" and 1/2\" Ports
