FX Racing Xtreme clutches only consist of the very best materials available today. The pressure plate is made from the forged ductile iron (3X stronger than the conventional cast iron pressure plate) to ensure consistent clamping force and the extra long life. HD friction material is used on all FX Racing Xtreme HDSS clutch kit to have higher burst strength and heat tolerance. The heavy-duty sprung center with heat treated spline hub and retainer rivets provide increase in strength and reliability. The FX Racing Xtreme pressure plate features special single diaphragm design to increase clamp load. It features induction hardened diaphragm, CNC machined castings, stronger drive straps and rivets. FX Racing Xtreme pressure plate provides smooth and precise feel with easy modulation. All FX Racing pressure plate is load tested on a special testing tool for quality assurance.

FX Racing 4140 Chromoly Lightweight Flywheels are made from 4140 one-piece forged chromoly steel. They are specifically designed to reduce weight and inertia for better engine response. Most incorporate special design features to enhance the air flow to improve the cooling of the clutch. The ring gear teeth are milled onto the flywheel unlike an aluminum flywheel where the ring gear is pressed onto the flywheel which has the possibility of separating from the flywheel. All FX Racing Chromoly flywheels have passed engineering tests to 12,000 rpm.
