This is a battery box for aDucati 900ss that is running pod filters instead of an airbox. It holds an EarthX ETX18B battery, starter solenoid mount, coils, and ignitor boxes.
Interior dimensions of the box are 134mm x 66mm. A stock size battery will not even come close to fitting. This is for a smaller and much lighter lithium battery. I'm not sure which brands will fit, I made it specifically for the EarthX ETX18B.
There are two sets of braces. The short fairings use a bracket mounted to the same lug as the battery box, so the braces for that are narrower. I don't have a bike with the half fairing to try this out on but going by the dimensions of the bracket these should work. The full fairing braces have a wider span and won't work with the short fairing brackets.
The starter solenoid mounts under the right side mounting tab. Use a long bolt there to hold the battery box to the frame, then bolt the solenoid mount UNDER the tab on the part of the bolt that sticks through. Use the spacer there to make it level with the brace. The other bolt hole lines up with another hole on the battery box. The photos show the solenoid mount using the rear hole on the battery box. In this position a short front bolt needs to be used to clear the solenoid mount. The nut is inset into brace. You can also position the solenoid mount so it uses the front bolt instead, it's a tighter fit near the frame but a longer bolt will fit in the rear position. Two ignitor tabs need to be printed. These use the stock rubber mounts for the ignitor boxes...list of hardware is 6mm .
