VW / Audi DSG – ZF 8HP Transmission Mechatronic TCU Cloning Service
Service Overview:
The DSG (DQ200, DQ250, DQ381, DQ500) and ZF 8HP automatic transmissions used in VW, Audi, and other VAG vehicles rely on a mechatronic unit that combines the valve body with the Transmission Control Unit (TCU). This TCU stores all critical vehicle-specific information such as VIN, immobilizer (anti-theft), software coding, and adaptation values.
When replacing a faulty mechatronic/TCU with a donor unit, our cloning service transfers all the required data from your original module to the donor, ensuring the replacement is plug-and-play without additional dealer programming.

Important Notes:
This is a service only – no replacement modules are provided.
You must supply both your original faulty unit and a donor (replacement) unit.
The donor must match the part number or be a verified compatible replacement.
Units with severe hardware or water damage may not be cloneable.

VW / Audi DSG transmissions: DQ200, DQ250, DQ381, DQ500
VW / Audi vehicles with ZF 8HP automatic transmissions (found in higher-torque models)
Always confirm part numbers before sending your units.
If we attempt to clone your module and the cloning process is not successful, the charge will still apply, as the same time and effort is required regardless of the outcome.
If you send us another replacement module for the same vehicle, we will waive the service charge and perform the cloning at no additional cost.
If the part numbers on the module sent in for cloning do not match, the cloning service cannot be performed. In this case, a $25.00 service charge plus return shipping fees will apply.
