Tech Tip:The stock Jeep TJ body mount bolts generally require a 5/8-inch socket to remove the 11 main bolts. The front grille support mounts specifically use a different size, often requiring a smaller socket or a 7/16-inch wrench depending on replacement hardware. Using a 6-point socket is highly recommended to avoid stripping.
