Product Description
The Competition Clutch 99707-S-2600 is a replacement segmented ceramic clutch disc for the 2004–2021 Subaru WRX STI with the 2.5L EJ257 turbocharged engine. This is the same disc included in the Competition Clutch 15030-2600 Stage 3 Street/Strip clutch kit, available separately for owners whose pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and other clutch components are still in good working order. The segmented ceramic facings provide up to 150% increase in torque capacity over stock with quick, smooth engagement and extended service life -- ideal for street and strip combinations on modified turbocharged STI builds.
The sprung hub center damper reduces impact and shock loads transmitted through the drivetrain for improved drivability. A 300-mile break-in period is recommended after installation. Flywheel must be resurfaced to manufacturer specifications before installing the new disc. This disc is designed exclusively for use with Competition Clutch 15030 series components -- it is not compatible with OEM or other aftermarket pressure plates. Fits STI models only -- the non-STI WRX uses a different transmission input shaft spline count and requires the 15029-series kits instead.
