Original vintage Carter BBD two-barrel carburetor manufactured by Carter Carburetor in St. Louis, USA.
Identification tag is present and marked BBD-8201S. This carburetor is associated with 1978 Chrysler Corporation 318 V8 applications.
The carburetor appears substantially complete and includes the linkage, vacuum components, electrical connections, diaphragms, and related hardware shown in the photos.
This carburetor has not been installed or operationally tested by me. Internal condition is unknown, and due to its age, it should be considered a candidate for inspection, cleaning, and/or rebuilding before use.
There is normal age-related oxidation, discoloration, surface corrosion, dirt, and wear. I have intentionally not cleaned, rebuilt, adjusted, or disassembled it in order to preserve its original condition.
