This service activates the factory BMW Remote Engine Start/Stop function: long-press the lock button on your key and the engine starts remotely — cool the cabin down in summer, warm it up in winter, no need to get in first.
Previously this feature was only available bundled together with ECU tuning. We can now activate it as a standalone feature, without unlocking your control unit.
Bonus: if your key fob can already reach your car from a window in your house, this is an absolute must-have.

FAQ Can I start the engine from my phone?
This service activates remote start from the KEY FOB (3-press). Starting from a phone/app requires active BMW ConnectedDrive telematics — that\'s a separate service, ask us if you need it.
Can I use my own alarm system with this?
Yes — once factory Remote Start is active, most 3rd-party alarm/telematics systems (any brand) can trigger it from an app. We can also install a compatible alarm for you on request.
Do you unlock my control unit?
No, we don\'t unlock the module.
Do you support diesel engines?
No, petrol (gasoline) engines only.
Do you support F-series?
Generally no, except some newer chassis codes — send your VIN and we\'ll confirm.
I\'m a professional installer — can I just buy the code?
Yes. If you identify yourself as a professional with E-Sys or ISTA, we can sell you the signed FSC file for your VIN and you activate it yourself.
