These modules fit LCI standard and adaptive LED headlights only. They do not fit the Laserlight version with the blue accent elements.
This is not a coding limitation — the standard LED and Laserlight DRL boards use completely different PCB footprints, mounting layouts, and optical tube alignments. The parts are physically different shapes and will not seat in the wrong housing.

The fastest visual check: look at your headlight with the DRLs on. Laserlight housings have a distinct blue accent element inside the projector area and the inner trim reads “BMW Laser.” Standard and adaptive LED housings have no blue accent. If you see blue, this kit is not for your car.
To confirm by part number: pull the access cover at the back of your headlight housing and read the module label. 63115A57067 (left) or 63115A57068 (right) confirms standard LED and this kit is correct. The DRL board numbers 63115A57071 (left) and 63115A57072 (right) also confirm it.
Also confirm you’re US spec. BMW uses different part numbers for US and European housings on the G20 LCI because of sidemarker and amber reflector regulations. Check the sticker on your housing and the connector pin count before ordering.

WHAT THIS REPLACES
Each module is a direct swap for one factory LCI standard LED DRL board. You remove the OEM board from the housing and the RGB module takes its exact place using the same mounting points and the same connector. No cutting. No splicing. No drilling. No adhesive strips. No wiring taps.
Because the module sits in the factory optical position, the light travels through your original LED light guide — the same even, edge-to-edge output BMW engineered, just in whatever color you choose.
INSTALLATION
01 — Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait 60 seconds.
02 — Remove the headlight assembly, or access the rear service cover depending on your preferred approach.
03 — Open the rear access cover on the housing and locate the factory DRL module. Confirm the part number on the label matches 63115A57067 or 63115A57068 before going further.
04 — Release the factory module from its mounting clips and unplug the connector.
05 — Seat the RGB module in the same position and connect it to the factory plug. Apply the included dielectric grease to the connector before seating to seal against moisture.
06 — Reinstall the access cover, reconnect the battery, pair to the Happy Lighting app and verify all modes on both sides before final reassembly.
Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable working inside a headlight housing.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do these work with Laserlight headlights?
No. Standard and adaptive LED only. The PCB shape and optical tube alignment are completely different between the standard LED and Laserlight boards — it’s a physical incompatibility, not a coding one. If your housing has the blue accent element, this kit won’t fit.
How do I tell standard LED from Laserlight?
Laserlight housings have a visible blue accent element inside the projector area and the inner trim reads “BMW Laser.” Standard and adaptive LED have no blue accent. You can also read the part number on your DRL module label — 63115A57067 or 63115A57068 confirms standard LED.
Does this fit pre-LCI 2019–2022 cars?
No. The LCI facelift changed the headlight architecture entirely. Pre-LCI uses a different module — message us and we’ll point you to the right kit.
Does this require coding?
No. These are passive color-change DRL boards, not control ECUs — they’re plug and play. No BimmerCode, no ISTA, no fault codes.
Will my low beam, high beam, adaptive function, and turn signal still work?
Yes. The module replaces only the DRL board. Low beam, high beam, turn signal, adaptive cornering, and automatic headlight operation are untouched and operate exactly as they did from the factory.
Does this fit European or ROW cars?
These are for US-spec housings. BMW uses different part numbers for European and ROW G20 LCI headlights due to sidemarker and reflector regulations. Confirm your market spec with us first.
Is an app required, or can I use the remote?
Either. The app gives you the full color wheel and all modes; the included remote handles color and mode changes without your phone.
Does the color reset when I turn the car off?
No. Your last setting holds through every ignition cycle.
