Knowledge about the radiator:
How to clean radiator:
Step1.Start the vehicle, to rise to normal temperature. Slowly open the tank cover, the fluid shake fromthetank after filling the mouth, the cleaner can be mixed with any brand of coolant. Idle running not less than 15 minutes, not cleaning vehicles not less than 30 minutes for two years. And then discharge coolant, flush water tank, until out of clear water, suitable for any water cycle system.
Step2.After cleaning, after waiting for pipeline rehabilitation add fluid to water tank, and inject new coolant and water purification.
How to replace a radiator step by step:
Step 1. Remove radiator cap (engine cold).
Step 2. Remove the lower shielding, then locate and loosen radiator drain plug.
Step 3. Coolant draining: use a catch basin to collect the coolant to be recycled.
Step 4. Move the air intake away from the work area, then remove the plastic fascia cover.
Step 5. Remove the reservoir mounting bolts and the radiator overflow hose, then remove coolant reservoir from the engine bay.
Step 6. Disconnect radiator cooling fan connector.
Step 7. Loosen upper radiator hose clamp, remove the upper radiator hose.
Step 8. Remove all cooling fan mounting bolts, then gently lift out the fan and housing.
Step 9. Loosen and remove the automatic transmission cooler lines from the radiator, then remove the radiator mounting bolts. Move the radiator forward to remove the air conditioner condenser from the radiator and remain it in the engine bay.
Step 10. Remove the lower radiator hose and remove the old radiator from the engine bay.
Step 11. Installing new radiator: reverse the order to re-install the new radiator, then refill the system with coolant.
Step 12. Re-install the radiator cap and recheck the system for leaks.
Note: Please be careful when replacing the radiator.
