- All freight shipping requires a business name and address with forklift access for heavy items, including engines, transmissions, hoods, axle beams, etc. If a forklift is not available and the delivery driver has to use their liftgate, then the buyer must pay a liftgate fee. Buyers can opt to pick up the part from a nearby freight terminal, and in such a circumstance we would provide the location and phone number of the freight terminal. Buyer must have access to a truck and show up with proper identification.
- If buyer uses a residential address for freight shipping, liftgate service and residential delivery fees will apply. A valid phone number will be required for all freight shipping items to a residence as freight carriers will call and confirm shipments prior to scheduling the delivery date and time. In the event the buyer does not respond to the freight carrier\'s attempts to call and schedule, the buyer will pay return shipping costs, which ranges between $200-$300 depending on the size and weight of package. Shipping to a commercial address—including pickup at a freight terminal—does not require freight carriers to call and schedule.
