Installation:
1. Check air cleaner to hood clearance, ensures that additional height of heat insulator gasket will not interference other components
2. Remove air cleaner and all attachments to the carburetor(fuel line, throttle linkage and vacuum lines)
3. Remove the carburetor, then remove the old base gasket and any additional plates
4. Remove the stock carburetor studs(short) and install the new studs(long)
5. Install the heat insulator gasket directly against the manifold, replace the carburetor and all other Carburetor heat insulator gasket, for Edelbrock Performer intake mainfolds and carbs
· Reduces fuel percolation, heat soak and warm start engine issue fixed
· Constructed of nitrile rubber composite, stable performance in extreme high temperature environments in the engine
· Dual plane with spilt center, matches used with divided runner intake, seals under the carb to the intake
· Square bore mounting flange applications. Comes with extended carburetor studs
