Lot of 4 Ford Late Model T connecting rods weighing between 690.7 grams & 692.6 grams.We have hundreds of these connecting rods that are marked "81008RF HF12". We will be selling in lots of 4, 8, 12, 16 & 20. All rods are weighed and a picture is taken of the actual rods you will be receiving. I'm selling these for a friend who's grandfather was the CEO of Niagara Motors back in the day. These are left over stock after they shutdown.Not much else is known about these & that's all the history I know about these. They are in excellent shape for being stored in a barn for around 70 years.I had a hard time figuring out what exactly these were until a fellow member happened to list an identical connecting rod. He obviously knows more about these than I do. This is a rare New Old Stock (NOS) high-performance aftermarket connecting rod manufactured by the famous Harvey Forge (HF) for the Montgomery Ward Riverside brand. I'm not sure what Niagara Motors was doing with the connecting rods. It's unknown if they were refurbishing them or rebranding them.
Featuring the specialized bronze-bushed small end, this rod was the premier period upgrade for the Model T engine. It replaces the standard Ford "pinch-bolt" design, allowing for a floating wrist pin setup. This reduces friction and is a must-have for vintage speedsters or heavy-duty Fordson tractor work. The forging number 81008RF and the HF12 foundry mark are crisp and clearly visible.

Condition: NOS. Factory-fresh machining. Excellent vintage condition with only minor shelf-wear oxidation from over 70 years of storage.
