The PPE 10R180 Transmission Pan was designed from the ground up to more effectively get heat of your F150 or Ranger\'s transmission to improve the lifespans of both your transmission fluid and the transmission itself. PPE manufactures each of their pans entirely out of cast aluminum that makes them much stronger than stock and resistant to becoming brittle over time with oil exposure and heat cycles like the stock plastic pans. The all-aluminum construction is paired with extra-large, 3/4\" cooling fins that increase the exposed surface area of the pan to promote improved heat dissipation away from the trans fluid and transmission internal components to keep overall temperatures lower than stock. The pan features a deeper design than stock, which allows for an additional 1-3/4 quarts of fluid capacity over the stock transmission pan. PPE designed the pan with a built-in drain port and includes a magnetic drain plug that allows you to change your transmission fluid without needing to remove the entire pan.
