Porsche Dashcam
The Porsche dashcam is suitable for video recording while driving and when parked. It is used via the associated app, in which all settings can be performed. Recorded videos are saved on the supplied SD card and are overwritten continuously. If the dashcam detects a shock or the radar sensor is triggered, the video recorded is saved separately and not overwritten. Recordings can be downloaded directly from the SD card or via the app.

"Driving" operating mode:Recording starts automatically when the engine is switched on. If a shock event occurs, the 10 seconds before the event and the time after the event are stored separately. With the "Racing" setting in the app, it is possible to deactivate the shock sensor for driving recordings on the racetrack.
"Parking" operating mode:During parking, the dashcam is ready for use via the sleep function. The recording is triggered by the radar sensor or the shock sensor. The duration and scope of the sleep function depends on the vehicle model and equipment.
