Our greatly improved install Kit provides an exact template for you to useto mark and drill the holes, it has several areas marked to cut out so that you can properly tape the template down after you have gotten it center side to side and front to back. The measurementsare provided on the template so that you don’t make any mistakes drilling the holesduring the install. We also can provide labels to help you tape the template in place so that it doesn\'tmove around while you are center punching the holes. Please ask questions if you are not sure about something. This is a complete template, ready to get ready for your cab light install.
Electrical hook up is Very easy. Most of these (99-07) trucksalready have the plug that these plug into behind the passenger side kick panel.This harness runs up the passenger side pillar, just plug into the existing connectorif your truck is equipped for lights. If your vehicle does not directly plug inyou can cut off the electrical plug and hook up the black wire to any metalsupport in the roof for ground or you can run both wires down to kick panelarea, and run the other brown wire to your parking light circuit so that theyonly come on when your lights are on.
******** We give you an accurate template to drill the15 holes needed to install all the lights correctly. ( 3 holes per light)We see other sellers offering direction or instructions but directions areworthless alone without an exact drilling template to use.
You can be sure that you project will go as planned by knowingyou will not drill a hole in the wrong location during the install. Miss drillinga hole in the wrong place can cause a leak and damage your headliner or you mayneed costly bodywork to repair the mistake.
