For sale is a radio center pate for any 94-96 caprice, impala ss bezel. This is not a whole lower dash.
This item is ideal IF your existing radio plate cracked, broken, damaged or your double din installation did not go as planned but the rest of your lower dash is in reusable condition.
This part is made from black semi rigid urethane. It features very high level of detail, same as original pattern on the front, around the radio, your HVAC controls and air flow selectors. It has 2 clip brackets molded in the same locations as OE and reinforced with metal to prevent braking in the future. Weighing close to pound and a half, near half inch thick of material in critical locations, this unit is nearly indestructible under normal use condition. It also has a full flange stretching from 3-9 o’clock which is used as a bracket for adhesion to your existing part. It also has HVAC ducts and retaining bracket for your flow controls
To install this part you will have to cut out your existing center pice from your lower dash. We recommend using a cupping saw for precision. Trim the edge of the dash, trim the than use 2 part epoxy to mold it together and reinstall.
You will have to reuse your existing clips on the top and HVAC flow controls. We will trim our panel to insure quick snap installation of the HVAC flow controls and their rotational function. You will also need 3 one inch clamps and 2 two inch clamps which can be purchased at your local retailer. We will also be available to assist with installation if needed.
