Beautiful 1970 to 1981 era fat Pontiac 'Formula' Firebird Trans Am steering wheel - an original GM part.
This is actually the fattest and thickest grip mold of the era - even thicker than the 1970 to 1973 IC, ic, ICX wheels!
This has once been lightly restified and I have had it saved in storage since. Beautiful condition.
An original Pontiac part - not the cheap chinese reproduction that bends when you look at it.
This truly 'fat' wheel was most correct on the 1974 Super Duty 455 Trans Am and 1975 455 HO Trans Am and firebird cars of the era.
If you are not able to find an IC or ICX stamped wheel, or unwilling to pay the $1000+ price tag for your 1970 to 1973, this "fat' wheel will surely impress. While thicker in grip than 1970, 1971, 1972 or 1973 wheels, there is no 'race track sculpting' on the backside which is found on those early mold steering wheels.I ship out asap.
