This fob is not paired to your car and must be added through the car's touchscreen:
- If you already have one working key — you can add this fob yourself from the car's screen in a couple of minutes (Controls → Locks → Keys).
- If you have no working key at all — the car cannot add a key by itself and you will need Tesla Referral service. Please keep this in mind before Model S 2012-2020 that use the car-shaped fob. Compare the shape with your original before buying — later cars use a different key design.
Condition
Housing and buttons are intact with normal wear from daily use; the battery is not included and not guaranteed — a fresh CR2032 is inexpensive and easy to fit. You get exactly the fob in the photos.
