Building a custom 4 link system for your 05 to Current F250, F350, F450 or a 2014 to Current Ram 2500/3500 truck? Or even doing a solid axle swap on a Chevy truck using a Ford or Ram axle?
The threaded clevis mounts make adjustments on the front axle easier, faster, and give the ability to fine tune the suspensions caster and centering the axle. Anyone who has built 4 link systems that utilize the Ford Superduty or 14+ Ram front axles know how tedious it can be to align the trucks having the solid clevis mounts on the axle.
With now having a threaded end on the clevis mount you can now make the 4 link bars with both ends having threaded bungs, giving the user the ability to simply spin the bar to make adjustments. Versus the traditional way to make adjustments on the front 4 link system is to constantly fully disconnect the bar at one end and make small adjustments over and over. Not anymore! Simple loosen your jam nuts and rotate your bar to your specified length and tighten the jam nut back up. EASY!
These are not any kind of stock replacement part for a vehicle. This is for those that are building custom suspension systems rather you are a big shop or small back yard fabricator!
Clevis body is made of 1/4” A36 US steel with AR500 machined into a 1.25-12 (1 1/4-12) threaded shank. Which means any standard 1 1/4-12 bung will work on your 4 link bars.
