Porsche did not produce a Turbo in 1990, but for 1991 they came out with an entirely new version based on the Carrera 2. The car featured an upgraded version of the 3.3 liter engine and a wider version of the base C2's body.
Firsts for the 911 Turbo in 1991 were the 17" aluminum wheels and coil springs.
