For owners of the Audi A4 1.8T or Audi A4 Cabrio 1.8T, OETTINGER offer a further engine conversion. Developing 270 hp and almost double the torque, at 288 lb-ft, following the doping, the OETTINGER A4 storms to 62 mph from standstill in just 6.5 seconds. The top speed of 155 mph is also on a par with purebred sports cars.

OETTINGER engineers install a larger turbocharger, larger injector valves, an additional intercooler with an aluminium intake pipe, as well as an uprated clutch. Depending on drive train, Quattro or front wheel drive, the conversion also includes a longer 4th and 5th gear.

The highly polished stainless steel exhaust system with 70mm (2 ¾”) diameter from the turbocharger back, provides reduced exhaust backpressure. The exhaust consists of a down pipe with a 200 Sports Cat., a front silencer/muffler and two rear silencers/mufflers which end left and right in two 84mm (3 5/16“) pipes which emerge from the sporty yet elegant rear skirt of the OETTINGER A4 Aerodynamic package. Following the improvement of the engines breathing, the engine management is remapped to match the optimised parameters.

In order to give the uprated 1.8T the appropriate grip and to assist the necessary deceleration, an adjustable stainless steel suspension, a 4 pot high performance brake kit with 322mm (12 5/8“) discs and alloy wheels with up to 19” diameter are also available.
