The LM version of the F1 was built to commemorate McLaren's racing success at Le Mans. The LM featured an aerodynamic kit that included side skirts and a large rear wing from the F1 GTR. Power was boosted from 627 to 680 hp by using the GTR engine without any air restrictors. Also from the F1 GTR is the 6-speed gearbox and 18-inch wheels. The curb weight of the LM was also reduced dramatically. The aerodynamics improved handling at high speeds, but limited the top speed to 225. Only 5 were built.
