The new BMW Z8 is one of the world's most sporty cars. HAMANN introduced an extensive tuning programme which further extends the roadster's sporty talents.

In its standard version the Z8 is electronically restricted to a maximum speed of 155 mph. HAMANN now offers a recalibrated ECU which provides a performance tuning by approx. 20 HP / 15 kW and which increases maximum speed to 295 km/h. The HAMANN SPORTSHIFT gearshift travel shortage for the six-speed manual gearbox provides an even more precise and quicker shifting operation. The HAMANN four-pipe high performance exhaust system optimizes the power development of the V8 engine and makes the engine sound even more exciting.

The HAMANN designers developed a bodystyling kit for the Z8 bodywork which further minimizes the lifting forces on front and rear axle. The range contains a front spoiler for the stock apron, side skirts, a rear fascia with integrated diffuser and a rear wing to be fixed on the trunk lid.

To be able to control the outstanding road performances of the tuned Z8, HAMANN furnishes the roadster with a special high performance brake system, a lowering kit and 19- or 20-inch tyres. As the biggest version there available multi-piece HAMANN PG3 wheels of the dimensions 9Jx20 front and up to 10.5Jx20 rear. ContiSportContact tyres of the sizes 255/35 ZR 20 front and 285/30 ZR 20 on the rear axle proved to be the perfect tyres for the tuned Z8. Alternatively there are available split-rim HAMANN light alloy wheels in 19-inch diameter. To lower the car by about 35 millimeters HAMANN offers a spring kit which is set up for the use with the standard shock absorbers.

To individually upgrade the interior, HAMANN provides exclusive accessories and custom-made full leather trims in all colors and designs.
