The L88 engine, offered in 1967 through 1969, was a racing motor offerered to the public for use on the street. Although listed at only 430 hp, the engine's real output was more like 600 hp.
The L88 engine package included aluminum heads, 12.5 to 1 compression, hi-lift cam, and a 850 CFM 4 barrel carb.
The "67 Corvette L88 is was one of the most desirable Corvettes ever produced, with only 20 being made.
