Performance tunings of up to 300 hp and a wide array of exclusive accessories: BRABUS offers a comprehensive sport program for the revamped Mercedes SLK models.

The BRABUS 3.8 S increased-displacement engine was specially developed for the new SLK 320 with V6 engine. A custom crankshaft with a longer stroke, finely balanced rods, larger pistons and an enlarged bore increase displacement in the BRABUS 3.8 S.

Additionally, the three-valve cylinder heads of the six-cylinder engine are fine-tuned and equipped with custom camshafts. Mounted BRABUS high-performance metal catalysts and fine-tuning of the electronic engine management system round out the BRABUS 3.8 S conversion.

The new BRABUS engine is impressive in terms of smoothness, environmental compatibility and, most of all, incredible performance. Rated power output jumps from the standard 218 hp to 300 hp at 5,750 rpm. Even more important for maximizing driving pleasure is the increased elasticity that results from boosting torque. The BRABUS 3.8 S displacement engine offers a maximum torque of 269 lb-ft torque.

As a result, performance figures for the tuned roadster are at high sportscar level: The BRABUS SLK 3.8 S accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds. Top speed is 160 mph.

Brabus tuned engines benefit from the mounting of a BRABUS stainless steel sports exhaust. The signature BRABUS large slanted tailpipes further enhance the exclusive appearance and sporty sound of the roadster. Understated BRABUS aerodynamic parts make the roadster even more exciting.

The BRABUS front spoiler gives the SLK a more striking face and greater passing prestige. It also reduces lift on the front axle, which increases driving stability at high speeds. The tail end appearance of the car is accentuated by the BRABUS rear apron.

BRABUS further accentuates the classic roadster look with the help of highly polished stainless steel roadster bars to replace the standard bars of the SLK.

BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels - available in a number of conventional and split-rim designs – also contribute to the sporty appearance of the SLK from Bottrop.

To complement the conversion to low-profile tires, BRABUS offers a comfortable sport suspension with gas-pressure shocks and progressive-rate springs. The sport suspension lowers the body of the two-seater by three to four centimeters.

The interior is another important focus of the SLK customization. BRABUS offers a variety of stylish and useful accessories: chrome treadplates, ergonomically shaped BRABUS safety steering wheel (leather/carbon or walnut burl design) with airbag, or even an exclusive fully leather interior crafted from exceptionally soft and breathable yet durable BRABUS mastik leather.
