1961 was a year full of new professional experiences and exciting challenges. The Jet built onto a Aston Martin DB 4/GT chassis, exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show, is one of the finest examples of an Italian-style sporting coupé. This highly characterful car was the result of innovative styling and shows a beautiful sense of balance with an overall look of classic elegance. The Aston Martin DB 4/GT is still a beautiful car, as well as being extremely powerful: 3670 cc., 302 Hp at 6000 rpm, with a top speed of over 270 km/h. Bertone's prototype reflects this high technology, and even just the name "Jet" says it all about the result.
