Ronald Affolter owns a respected Lamborghini dealership, but he also makes custom Lamborghini Diablos. In 1997, he created the Diablo Evolution GT1. This car features not only appearance, but also power modifications.

Every single body panel on the Evolution GT1 has been changed or modified. The front and rear bumpers have been modified, and a custom wing has also been added. Pop-up headlights were removed, and side-intakes were enlarged. One special feature includes a tinted glass roof, giving the appearance that the car's windshied runs far into the roof of the car. Also, twin air-ducts feed cool air to the engine.

The main power modification is the addition of twin-turbos. Other power modifications include redesigned intakes, a modified exhaust manifold, and an upgraded electronic fuel injection system. Lastly, a racing exhaust system is used.
