The Essen Motor Show is the premier automotive event for European tuning companies. The world's most prestigious aftermarket tuners for BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, etc bring out their new products and cars to the delight of excessively wealthy car owners. Some of the more notable introductions this year came from Ruf, Brabus, Techart, and more. Ruf’s second generation RGT based on the 997 features a widebody aerodynamics kit, Bilstein adjustable suspension, an integrated roll cage, and a 445 bhp version of Porsche’s flat-6. AC Schnitzer launched its product line for the Z4 M Coupe and Roadster featuring their rear silencers, wheels, and body kits. Techart launched several products including a 580 bhp package for the 997 911 Turbo and a widebody kit for the Cayman S. Aston Martin tuners Loder1899 and Mansory unveiled several accessory products for the V8 Vantage and Vanquish S, respectively. Finally, Brabus introduced their T13 engine package for the CL 600, which increases horsepower from 517 to 613.
