The 2007 North American International Auto Show is under way, and a full lineup of new production and concept vehicles. Many of the American vehicles broke cover early, including the Camaro Convertible Concept that will become a production car by 2009, and a new 600 horsepower Viper coupe and roadster with a new hood and an interior upgrade. The Ford group introduced the 4-door, Mustang-based Interceptor Concept as well as the Lincoln MKR Concept that is utilizing the new TwinForce 3.5-liter V6 that will make an appearance in upcoming production models.

Lexus was busy at the show, unveiling its new high-peformance IS-F sedan with a 400-horsepower V8 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission as well as a new near-production ready version of the LF-A Concept that originally debuted two years ago.
