Tamiya 1/12 Scale Red Ferrari F50 Semi-Assembled Die-Cast Model (Kit# 23203) Mint Kit in Excellent Box
This sale is for 1 new-in-the-box Tamiya 1/12 Diecast Ferrari F50. The car has never been removed from the box and is in mint condition. The box is in excellent condition, and has only been removed from the original shipping container and placed on a shelf. These cars have been discontinued by Tamiya for a few years now, and are getting exceedingly harder to find, especially new in the box examples which have never been previously displayed.
The details on this car are excellent. Actual colors of the body, engine, suspension and cockpit have been scrupulously rendered. High quality heat dried paint has been used for the body to obtain an even more realistic effect. Die-cast body accurately replicates the actual F50 aerodynamically designed body.
Doors, front trunk cover and rear engine hood are moveable and can be opened and closed. Rear engine hood is held by stays included in the kit for displaying in the opened position. Door mirrors can also be moved to folded position. The cockpit painted in black and red color has been reproduced down to the finest details of carbon patterned seat with seatbelts. Wheels and steering are fully operational. Goodyear's tread patterned tires are also realistically reproduced.
Parts are provided in the set to allow you to transform it from "Barchetta" (open top) to "Berlinetta" (with roof) within seconds. Mounting or removing roof lets you choose between two different styles. Front trunk cover, rear engine hood, roof and wheels come as separate parts. Center lock type wheels are fixed to the model with octagonal lock nuts using specially designed included wrench.

I store all my kits in a dry, cool, dark and humidity controlled environment to protect the box and contents from heat, moisture and UV rays. This is especially important for protecting rubber tires and decals.
