About Artisan
I'm a real petrol-head with a background in classic cars. I have been both sales manager for one of the world's largest classic car companies and a freelance E-commerce consultant.
Combining my love of rare and unusual scale models with my expertise in web usability, I decided to launch 'Artisan Models'.
Whilst I will offer interesting Diecast models, the main aim of Artisan is to offer the most stunning hand-built collectables (not toys), and to give every customer the best buying experience possible.
The emphasis will be on great car design from the 1950's to the present day with the occasional odd-ball item thrown in for good measure. Mostly road cars and mostly exotic in one way or another, including concept cars, supercars & 'hypercars'
Scale Guide
This is an approximate guide to the size of model, although this will vary depending on the size of the actual vehicle.
1:43 scale will be approximately 10cm long
1:24 scale will be approximately 15-25cm long
1:18 scale will be approximately 20-30cm long
1:12 scale will be approximately 30-40cm long
Condition Guide
The vast majority of models sold will be brand new, boxed and in mint condition.
From time to time I will offer items that are used or new but un-boxed or in damaged packaging.
These items will be clearly marked with a description of the fault and priced accordingly.

They are made in limited numbers and represent the higher end of factory hand-built models. Fantastic value for money, they are a great way to establish a fine collection.

These resin & white metal models tend to be of cars not represented by the diecast market, such as concept cars, one-off specials, unusual colours etc. They are not only beautifully hand-built, but they are also made in very limited numbers adding to their rarity and desirability.

These models are for serious collectors only and each one is a limited edition, they are most definitely not toys!

Returns Policy
Hopefully you will be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, in the unlikely event that you are not , I will be happy to provide you with a no-quibble refund (excluding return postage).
Refunds will be granted if the following conditions are met:
You must contact us by email or telephone within seven working days of receiving the order and PRIOR to sending the item back.
Items must be returned at the buyers expense, complete and original, in 'as ordered' condition and include all relevant certificates and boxes.
The return has to be authorised by us prior to return.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
