This sale is for an AutoArt 1:18 scale model of the James Bond Lotus Turbo Esprit from the classic Bond movie "For Your Eyes Only". Auto Art was the first company to produce highly detailed diecast metal models with all the working gadgets of the movie cars. The Lotus has no "M" weaponry but does have detailed interior with right side steering, steerable wheels, opening hood and detailed engine compartment and two pairs of Olin Mark VI skiis on the ski racks and an opening rear hatch. This particular model is extremely rare and very popular now among Bond collectors. The box is in excellent condition. When I added this model to my collection I removed it from the box to inspect it and did remove the plastic tape restraint to protect the paint as I've had some of my collection ruined by leaving the restraints in place. Otherwise the model has not been displayed out of the box and was never stored in direct sunlight. From a smoke free home.
