The 1969 Trans Am season was heated and full of controversy. Accusations
of rules infractions involved just about every car and crew. There were
accusations of nitro being used in gasoline, arguments about
carburetors, trick oil pumps, and underweight cars. Though the season
was full of controversy, it provided some of the most heated and
memorable racing between Chevrolet and Ford. Craig Fischer, a Canadian,
was one of the drivers working on Chevrolet's side. Craig drove the 1969
Todco racing, Snyder sponsored Camaro. In his white and red
(representing the colors of Canada) Todco Racing Camaro, he fought side
by side with the likes of Mark Donohue, Dan Gurney, Parnelli Jones and
others.
