Tool is an exact replica of the OEM Ford tire winch tool/extension thing.
Yeah I had to replace the lame OEM Ford Spare Tire Winch Rotatolizer thingy, like everyone does eventually with a Ford truck. Well this thing perfectly replaced the stock tool, and I was finally able to hoist my spare tire into and out of the spare tire recess under the truck bed. Seems to be an exact replica of the Ford part. Works well. It's still kind of hard to get it out of the hole it goes into, but that's just Ford's design, not the tool's fault. Ford Ranger Jack Extension
This is a very good quality replacement for the OEM part, completely compatible with the OEM and much better built. It has a metal latch which engages the OEM part it connects to. The end that engages both the spare tire winch and the jack is securely fastened to the extension pole portion. It stows in the truck exactly where and how the OEM part stows. It does seem to be slightly smaller in diameter, so could shift left and right when stowed, so I placed it under the jack, which holds it still. I like it so well, I wish I had purchased the complete set of tools to replace mine.
